I need some Panel advice...B777...B747

Featured Replies

Hello!I have been using the default panel in FS9 for the B777 and B747 for some time now and I would like to update the default ones with one of the panels in the FS2004 panel library, but there are so many that I don't know which one to start with.so...I would like to know which ones you all are using and like the best! If you could please include the avsim file-name and author name in your post for your favorite B777 & B747 panels, that would be great! This will help me narrow my search down to the ones that are being used out there with good results in sim-land.Thanks for your help!Scott :-smile12FAA Certified Flight Instructor & ATP - KCOS

But not allways many downloads mean good quality. As freeware add ons are seldom reviewed (except for Bear's Cave) and seldom or never critisized by the users (which is good IMHO), many judge the quality of such an add on by the screenshots in the library, only to find out after the download, that the add on has not much to offer besides good looks. And also, as most peolple have the same assuming like yourself, which is, the more downloads the better, the downloads will automatically rise even more, no matter of quality of the freeware addon.Since I by myself tend(ed) to judge the quality of a freeware add on only by the number of downloads I got quite often disappointed by what I had downloaded. On the other hand I have downloaded quite a number of add ons, which had not many downloads at that time, but which really satisfied me.Wolfgang

Good idea. I'll try that.Scott
