November 3, 201213 yr I hope PMDG decides to make the 200ER Extension, because Austrian Airlines is not a very big Airline and i like the Boeing 777 so much. All Versions of the 777 are beautiful, the 200ER as well as the 200LR and the 300ER specially! But i'am from Austria and my wish are that i can have just on Boeing Aircraft, most of all the Triple Seven, for my FSX. I'm proud of my home Airline, but when the 777 from Austrian are available in 200LR livery, that wouldn't be bad for me!! Sebastian Lederer, future owner of the T7!!
November 3, 201213 yr There's already a pretty big topic on this. I don't doubt it won't get developed - the question is when since PMDG probably have more projects than we know! - Luke Pabari
November 4, 201213 yr Would be a shame if they won't do the main model next to the 777-300ER. I just need the 777-200ER, no other model! best regards Roman Reiner
November 4, 201213 yr Just paint the 77L in AUA colours and you're set. Think of it as a 200ER with more fuel capacity CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11
November 4, 201213 yr Looks crazy with wingtips... and false performance data, so the usage of the real flightplans is not possible :( :( Hopefully they will release a 777-200ER best regards Roman Reiner

Austrian use the GE 772 also - so you'll see little differences, unless you look for them. Why is the usage of real world flight plans not possible with the LR? It's not like the LR cruises at 600knts (TAS). I'll be using the LR with the BAW livery! - Luke Pabari
November 4, 201213 yr Yeah same. If the ER comes out, i won't even care. November 4, 201213 yr Because fuel consumption will be different. Also the power of the engines is totally different (90B vs 115B on the GE90). And wingtips on a 777-200 with Austrian livery... that doesn't match, sorry  However, for me, the ER is more important than the LR, just look on the number of builts. Was also shocked, when I heared, that the LR will be released before the 200ER, even more shocked, that the 200ER will not be developed probably. :( best regards Roman Reiner
November 4, 201213 yr Hmmm i don't think the ER won't be developed. Where did you read about that? There are many more ER operators than LR, i don't see it happening. Not the same consumption - takeoff distance is way different (example: Vienna-> JFK - for the 77L this route is like a flight from Vienna to Innsbruck with a 738 - performance wise) as the 77L has the GE90-115B as max. rated engines and the max available engine rating for the (GE) 777-200ER is the GE90-94B so there's a difference of 21000 lbs of thrust per engine -> difference of 42000 lbs of thrust for the entire airplane - so, yes the performance and the consumption differences are not that inevident... Hmmm i don't think the ER won't be developed. Where did you read about that? There are many more ER operators than LR, i don't see it happening. And yes - there are way more 777-200ER operators (that makes it even more likely to be developed) - so +1 for a 777-200ER variant! I was pretty surprised that PMDG came up with the 77L as the initial release... Chris Jilli

November 5, 201213 yr It's flight simulator ha! I always thought it was real life. Joseph Vannelli
