Inquiring mind wants to know....

So far since I've switched from fs9 to fsx months ago, I could not complete an auto ILS landing on Level D B767. I've tried it on fsdream HNL on 4R, default Cancun on 12 and Imaginesim Changi on 2C. It will not follow glide slopes. Same thing with fsdream KLAS on 25L using PMDG B737ngx. Now some airports are fine freeware or payware and using PMDG B747 and Aerosim B787.

 

Or sounds like pilot error on my part.....?

A known issue. It's funny the ILS on 25R and the other runways work well. PMDG has a pinned topic about this - http://forum.avsim.net/topic/336155-magnetic-variation-updates-for-fs9-and-fsx/ regarding the cause(s). I could not get it fixed and, as far as I know, it's something we have to live with in the world of flight simming. I do know that the course heading in the PMDG FMC (from Navigraph) does not match the heading for the FSDT scenery. As I recall, it does work if you line up using the FSDT course heading for the runway (which is real world). You can read all about it in the link I provided.
