November 8, 201213 yr I finally got everything setup for my new REX textures, but they're not installing into the sim. I checked the sim folder and everything. Please help. This is very frustrating. Currently in flight school

November 8, 201213 yr Author Very strange indeed! Have a look in your REX installation folder for any errors, in the error log folder. I can send a RAR with the error logs. I don't know what they mean when I read them. Here's with Administrator rights: And here: And without, it doesn't save. Very strange indeed! Have a look in your REX installation folder for any errors, in the error log folder. Here's a RAR: file:///C:/Users/Jared%20Maurtua/Desktop/New%20WinRAR%20archive.rar Currently in flight school
November 8, 201213 yr The error logs may provide an insight into the problem. Do you have the latest Net framework installed? Here's a RAR: file:///C:/Users/Jared%20Maurtua/Desktop/New%20WinRAR%20archive.rar Can't see it! DIMITRI

November 10, 201213 yr I had this same problem! but have managed to fix it... When I upgraded to overdrive, the installation did not copy all the original textures to the new installation folder. So I copied all the texture files from the old install "C:\Program Files (x86)\Real Environment Xtreme Essential\images" to the new installation folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\REX Essential\images". Once I started REX, all the textures were there and I was able to select the ones I wanted and then install them in the normal way. Hope that works for you!
November 11, 201213 yr Copy and paste into the URL and download it. copy and pasting a file:/// directory only refers to your computer. You cannot give someone that address and expect them to be able to access the file on your computer. You need to find some sort of file hosting.. consider dropbox. November 12, 201213 yr Hi this is caused by installing the upgrade into the wrong folder. The proper folder to install the upgrade in is the folder containing the "rex.exe" file from the current install! Matt's solution provides a work around, but only if the upgrade and current install are both with OD or without. Better is to uninstall the upgrade and reinstall to the proper folder.
