I've noticed when I start the pushback from the FMC the captain can be heard talking to the ground crew. Are there any other times when you can hear the captain speaking ? I've always thought it would be a neat feature if you could hear the Captain and the FO calling out the checklists. Is this possible ?

I think the original poster is referring to the built-in PMDG captain to ground communications when using the 2-D pushback guage, but FS2Crew supposedly greatly enhances the realism of the B737. I have not heard any other communications in the B747, but it would be interesting to find out whether there are in fact any.
