November 9, 201213 yr Hello all, I wonder if someone can help me with this problem? First, thank God I had a total crash with my old computer so I awarded myself with a new computer top of the line configuration,,,,, I7 third generation, 12GB ram & a sweet GTX 680...... I installed everything clearly.... and by chance the essential is released ...after two days of trails and the use of download manager ...... I got it and installed ...... as expected very impressive. I got a problem that didn't happen to older REX version I was using for 3 years, OK, at the configuration manager I ticked the box next to "enable auto-start the REX weather engine" but REX wouldn't start with flights no green bar no change in weather in whatsoever!!! Within REX essential flight planer ...when I make a flight plan and click start flight, REX weather engine will work and I get the nice weather avoidance system map at the same time ? so any help please with this annoying issue Thank you all Alaa A. November 9, 201213 yr Hi do you run rexe as admin rights and the new rexe isnt the same as the previous rex2 that you had before. With the previous rex2 when you start fsx the weather rex2 would automatically start when you enter the airport. The new rexe this doesnt happen you need to press fly now and the weather engine will start and depending the time you have set it will load the weather to your airport, or you can simply press the load button on the weather map. hope this helps I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
