Just a thought.

 

Run your event viewer after it hangs, CTD's or whatever.

 

Find out what the faulting module is and post your results in the CTD forum.

 

I kept getting the API.dll fault, Jim over at the CTD forum helped me out.

 

Eventually it was a couple of programs running in the background that were leaking memory.

 

Cleaned my register, removed startup files and never had a CTD since.

 

You'll be surprised at how easy this may be fixed.

Go to the FSX forum on Avsim. This is PMDG. Thousands fly the product with no issues after doing a lot of reading. Read up on FSX. When you understand the issues with FSX then you will have a much better hobby. We've all been there and done it.
