November 10, 201213 yr Did you select English when you first installed FSX? Most likely though you do not have the right fonts installed. November 10, 201213 yr Author yeah I did chose English. Thats really strange. Is there a way to find the correct font that is used in the top menus? Even when Ii reinstalled FSX again the font was still unreadable. Jerad Burns
November 11, 201213 yr Some have fixed this font problem by deleting or renaming the FSX.cfg, restarting FSX and letting the config rebuild. Some others have done a repair but I see you did a reinstall and it still happens. If deleting your FSX.cfg does not fix the issue, then you'll have to totally uninstall FSX and reinstall using the following procedure - http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspx.
