Jankees,

I have a question for you that I know you may be able to answer for me.  My son and I are trying our hand at paints.  We are using BXTBmp and photo shop. The question I have is where to research information on saving the file after you have made the color changes in photo shop.  When we try to save it back to DDS form ate it turns back to white texture. We are trying to paint Carenado B200. We have been following some of the tutorials but not having luck.  Can you pint me in the right direction for some information.  Thanks for your help.

Dick

What I do is the following:

I open the white textures in photoshop, do my painting, with a copy of the white texture layer above my paint. That copy above I set to multiply, so the white becomes transparant. The textures now look like they should and I save them as a BMP file. I then open the BMP in DXTbmp, add the alpha layer (which I probably adapted too, and saved as BMP) and save as DXT5 DDS file (without mipmaps). Things should work then....
