  1. I use the Carenado setup for the GTN750 in the dash. I ran the F! config tool to get a second unit to work. For some reason I can not get the stack to show up or the second unit to work. Has anyone worked on thee panel config to get a second GTN to work? Dick
  2. I had the X52 pro for a long time with Saitek drivers and profiles. I didn't notice your problem but I have null zones and sensitivity set to min, and 75%. Worked good for me until some updates with win7. I got rid of Saitek and bought FSUIPC and set up profiles and I like it much better. I agree with Bert. Try 75% first and if that doesn't work go to FSUIPC. I am using FSX. Dick
  3. Yes think so. I just deleted the aircraft, reinstalled and left the MOD off. I used the F1 GTN config tool and just use it that way. It works just fine. Must be something in the V2 that doesn't work with the MOD. I just move gauges to screen 2 and work it that way . Bigsky10
  4. Hi all, I am looking for a little help. Not sure whether it is because of windows updates or what but I have a couple add-on aircraft that no longer work. I have the V.2 of the Grand Caravan EX install on my FSX. It was working Ok until Microsoft pushed out a number of updates. Now I am having problems. I had profiles built up in FSUIPC4 which do not work. When I load the aircraft (Carenado Caravan EX) it shuts down completely and finally when I get it started auto pilot does not work. The altitude select knob turns but will not set an altitude in the PDF. The HDG and CRS1 knob on the AFCS control Unit turn but there is no indications on PDF. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it three times, Deleted the profile in FSX module and started over twice. I am about to install it and build profile again but will wait for some suggestions. I was thinking about building a profile for the default FSX Caravan and then copying it over to see if that makes a difference. This aircraft was working fine even with the FSUIPC profile. I download with no Norton running for installation. Thanks for the help everyone. 5. Thanks Dan, If you could point me to a more current thread I would appreciate that. I just did a google search and found this thread. System is" FSX Deluxe Edition SP1 and SP2 Win 7 Home Premium SP1 IntelCore i5, 10 GB RAM, 64-bit Operating System Thanks so much for any help. Dick holmes
  6. I have the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke system, rudder pedals and Throttle Quadrant. My smart tech software stopped working the other day and was unable to get anything reloaded. I opted for FSUIPC. Just starting to program the assignments. I did find that FSUIPC doesn't let you program additional buttons in MODE 2 and 3. Can anybody help me out? I read through documentation but didn't find anything that said how to do it. Thank
  7. I installed V1.2. I noticed there is no mixture control. I have saitek throttle controller and it moves the levers on the quadrant but there is no movement in the gauges. Worked good in the v1.1. Is anyone else have this problem. System FSX Deluxe Edition SP1 and SP2 (box ver) Win 7 Home Premium SP1 Intel Core i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67 GHz 2.66 GHz 10 GB RAM 64-bit Operating System
  8. Thanks. I also have them assigned to a rocker also. I guess I will do the GTN again and see what happens with the quadrant switch. I was thinking one click of the toggle on the panel opened them up. I'll giver it a try. Thanks Bigsky10
  9. I found if you setup the GTN 750 exe the cowl flaps on my airplane do mot work. You hear the sounds of them opening and closing but when you look at an exterior view there is no change. When I went back to the original GNS530 configuration the cowl flaps work great. Not sure if I am the only one or if this is the case for all.
  10. Ray, Thanks for the reply. Dick
  11. I have some of my carenado with A2A shock wave lights. They are brighter and look nice. I know Carenado lights are built into the programing and when you add shock wave lights you have try and place them in the right location. My question, is there any way to increase the brightness of the stock light instead of using add on lights programs? Thanks Bigsky10
  12. Where is Carenavigraph.dll located. I have 750 MOD so thought might help to change it's name
  13. Well not sure what happened. I went to Carenado website and got into their q&a section and found file to correct DLL file location. Downloaded and ran that. Fired up sim and FMS loaded. Still going over plane to see how it works.
  14. Torque2, I had the same problem loading as you did. It appears everything loaded correct. The Carenado Navigraph folder installed in the FSX folder. I did get the same message as you did the first time about "Access to path 'C:\users\...\Appdata\Roaming' is denied". I uninstalled and retried making sure I had checked all the buttons for FSX but got no error messages. The FMS appears to be hung up with no data being loaded. Do you have any pointers on how to install with nav data working. Bigsky10
