I just installed Win 8 on my machine. Can P3D be installed and used without FSX ??

I have only ever had P3D installed on its own, without FSX being anywhere on the computer.I am not using windows 8.

Yes you can.

 

Just don't expect the FSX stock aircraft to show up.

Of course not. Both applications are entirely separate, and don't need each other to run.
