Help ! With Joystick and Saitek Rudder Pedals

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I going nuts trying to make my Saitek AV8R-01 joystick and Saitek Rudder Pedals work.

No matter where I set the null zone on my rudder pedals I can't release the brakes. I've calibrated them, and have the reverse boxes checked like I always have with FSX.

I can't get the joystick to function with the ailerons, elevator, at all. Everytime I set axis on them and exit back to a flight

they keep responding as brakes.

I'm baffled.

Any help would be appreciated.

Perhaps try using the SPAD drivers. I never did get mine working in P3D with the default Saitek drivers but have not had a problem since going over to SPAD. Just remember if you go that way that you might have to start the driver each time you boot the computer. Click on the Desk Top icon of course.

I have used a Saitek pro flight joystick and flight yoke with P3D, each in turn attached at the same time as Saitek pedals, and quadrants, and everything has worked as expected, except I have found that the increasing of the sensitivity and reducing the null doesn't always "save" and I have had to go back to the menu a couple of times until the values stay at what I set them. So you should be able to get your joystick and pedals to work, if I can!

1) Don't use the Saitek SST Software.

2) Don't use P3D controller settings (uncheck)

3) Install FSUIPC (registered version)

4) Set axis, buttons, sensitivity and null zone through FSUIPC

Hope this helps
