Ground Rolling Friction

Featured Replies

I remember in FS2004, there was an alternate sim1.dll file that reduced the ground rolling friction on all aircraft. Has there been anything similar for FSX? It seems that FSX is just as bad as FS2004 was.

Thanks,

John

I'd like to know this too.

I wouldn't want to decrease the ground friction on every aircraft though. I have one aircraft in my hangar that moves forward at idle, and another that takes full power to get moving. At least the rolling friction depends on the surface; there's more friction on sand, for example.

I swear I once saw a setting relating to tire pressure, but I can't find it anywhere now. That would do the trick.
