Where to find the Vsync option for half the refresh rate?

Featured Replies

I downloaded and installed tonight the Nvidia inspector 1.9.6.4 with the Driver 301.24 on my system with 2 x GTX580 setup in surround.

When i go in inspector to the Vertical Sync field, I find only those options and nothing looks like the half the monitor refresh rate.

VSYNCMODE_FORCEOFF

VSYNCMODE_FLIPINTERVAL4

VSYNCMODE_FLIPINTERVAL2

VSYNCMODE_FORCEON

VSYNCMODE_PASSIVE

VSYNCMODE_DEFAULT

VSYNCMODE_FLIPINTERVAL3

0x47814940

0x60925299

Any idea why this is not working?

It's right below the option for power management mode, towards the bottom of that section. You can't miss it.

On the subject of Vsync, what is the best setting, and what do other settings do? I mean how does it affect the visual display of FSX if you change the setting?

Thanks.

No problem Daniel. Word Not Allowed explains it well and in depth.

Hi thanks all for input.

Word Not Allowed, the problem is probably there. From the site I downloaded, there was just the exe file and nothing else. If it was a zip file, I would have exracted it.

Is there a download site where I can find the complete inspector package ?

Thanks for the link Word Not Allowed,

Google is always the first source of information. But after a couple of download of package that failed the antivirus scanning (before even trying to install.. .maybe false positive but usually I dont install them to verify and I toss them away) and one incoplete package, it's good to rely on the good old method of having an individual that have tried a link that work and is clean to provide a reference....
