feelthere 737-400 IRS Problem

Hi Folks. Does anybody know why, with my Feelthere 737-400 I have no problem aligning the IRS when I'm at Gatwick, but when I try to start up at another airport, i.e. LIMJ Genoa, the IRS will NOT align. It just drops out everytime. Is there a way I can cure this. Is this problem caused by the fact that the FMC database needs updating? If it does do you know where I can find the database update for this aircraft please?

Im am running FS2004 with Win7.

I don't have that aircraft, but you generally need to tell the FMC where you are when you align... ie key in current co-ordinates for present location...are you not doing this ?
