Just installed academic version of P3D. Trying to start it I get this errormessage imidiately:

 

Prepar3D cannot run because the version of Microsoft DirectX installed on your computer is incompatible. Please download the current version of DirectX9.0c from http://www.microsoft.com/directx

 

I have Windows 7 probably with DirectX11. Is this a problem? I had P3D installed without problems before I upgraded my PC.

In short: yes you do. DX 11 doesn't include DX9, it is a diffrent API all together and you have to install it separately. You can download the setup program from here:
