July 29, 200421 yr As far as I understand, there is no difference in quality between Justin's freeware and payware mesh - depending on comparative resolutions, of course. He released a large amount of freeware mesh - that used to be, or was intended to be, payware - recently to stay one step ahead of others who were releasing freeware mesh for these areas. It was his hope, I think, that this clever marketing 'offer' would draw more people to his site and reputation who would support his payware work in other ways.I don't know when he sleeps. All that wonderful mesh and landclass is his work alone, as is the terrific website, support and running of his business.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM

July 29, 200421 yr Thankyou everyone for replying. To quote DSWO:"it's good-looking, it's reliable, and it doesn't cost very much"I think I'm convinced. So it seems to me that it's time to help him defray some costs.I will be purchasing a subscription from him shortlyDave
July 30, 200421 yr If you log into FsGenesis Forums, you get a lot more information... about FSGenesis products from users. In addition, you get info directly from Justin himself. HE also gives you honest answers. Generally I dont like to rewrite things here, which are available elsewhere. Time is money, and my freetime is worth as much to me as the time I get paid for, even a lot more. One example is the latest info on Roads and Rivers in his products. If you purchase one, you get all the free updates, like Ive updated from 2000, to 2002, then 2004, at no cost. Now there will be updates as he has figured out how to fix Roads and Rivers, wish MS had done that originally.
