Hey guys, I'm really enjoying using FSWidgets GMap, but I'd prefer something that works like it but doesn't need an internet connection. Any alternatives? I have tried feelthere Map, but I don't really like it.

1.plan-g 2. flightsim commander and there are possibly lots more. These use widefs with a network if you want to.

Plan-G needs an internet connection, I use FSCommander - which is as close to the old FSNavigator that I have found...

Plan G requires an Internet connection, and flightsim commander is pricey. Any other options?

Aivlasoft efb is also pricy, requires internet to initially activate but after that i believe you dont need to be connected. Oh and it cones with a free 30 day full use trial.

Actually if you only want to use it as a moving map FSCommander "can" be free - limited in that it can't save flight plans and will terminate after 30 minutes (although there is nothing to stop you relaunching it).......
