December 5, 201213 yr Does anyone have some reliable info on this subject? The Asus GTX680 Top edition is supposed to be the fast single GPU available at 1200mhz factory OC. It would seem a pair of these in sli would be ideal, however some people have reported that FSX does not benefit from SLI. If thats true, there is the GTX690 which is only 1019mhz, but esentially a dual GPU. It also offers 4gb memory over the 680's 2gb, but is there any benefits to more than 2gb of GPU memory? Which would provide better performance? This is regarding a 3+1 24 inch monitor set up.

So every GPU has access to 2gb, just like the normal single card would. If you wanted to opt for the 4gb memory per GPU, the only way would be a 680 SLI setup with two 4gb cards. I think the hardware forum will help you better. http://forum.avsim.n...ms-discussions/
