The Autoland Utility

Featured Replies

I'm anxiously awaiting the release of the Autoland for FS2004. How is the Beta progress going and can I ask when it would be released?Thank you for your hard work.

The beta went very well, however the author (me) ended up in the hospital this week. I am out now, but spending most of my time in bed and I suspect it will be several weeks before I can concentrate well enough to implement the last suggestion I received during the beta and release Autoland.Ironically, my other project (the Eclipse) was uploaded to Avsim just a few hours before I ended up in the hospital. And this is a bit O/T, but it's a good warning to anyone--if you ever have a nagging backache, don't assume it's just a backache. In my case, I was suffering from Pancreatitis and didn't know I was. I arrived at the hospital probably within a few hours of going into shock. It's something I've never had before and I hope I never have it again, since the liquid diet I've been on since Monday is getting rather old. It's one thing to be in my 40's, but until this week, I've never felt like I was in my 40's :) And that's about all I can type this evening... Sorry for the delay...Regards,John

Wow, John, that's something! It sounds bad and that it could have been REALLY bad. (Let's see, we don't have a spare pancreas do we?)You take care of yourself and we will wait for Autoland. Believe me everyone, as one of Johns beta testers, I can assure you that it is worth waiting for. R-

Wishing you a speedy recovery John, Regards,

Yes John,Get well soon. Looking forward to having you around awhile longer. 40's is not bad, well, it looks pretty good when you're 60. Take care.. time to relax a bit.Cheers,Bob

Hi John,Yes, for those of us in our 40s we do get the odd reminder that we're officially middle-aged ! Like "the guy" said, its not the years its the milage !Hope you're soon back to full health,Alastair
