VR Insight V737 Overhead Support?

Featured Replies

I've just been reading this topic:

http://forum.avsim.net/topic/362089-vrinsight-v737-overhead-panel/

... but I don't seem to be able to post in it...

Are there really no plans to support the overhead? I know it is 737 specific, but it would be great to be able to assign functions to some of those switches for other planes (J41, 747 etc), even if it is just things like fuel pumps, APU, Landing/taxi lights etc.

Just a thought. It's a lovely bit of hardware and it would be a shame not to use it for other planes.

PS: apologies if this has been brought up before, but it would be interesting to see if other V737 users are interested in further support.

If you update to the latest VRiSim software package from the page below you will see there is a key mapper included now for the V737 Overhead, you cant interface with the LED lights behind the panel but you can assign key presses to most of the switches and dials or use "mouse keys" which turn the button presses into virtual mouse actions on 2d panels.

You'll need;

and

Having used LINDA for a few days now I still wish they would support the overhead. This software rocks! It would be nice to have all of my controllers running through this program as it makes programming so much easier!

Kudos to Guenter and Artem im%20Not%20Worthy.gif :drinks:
