FSX Crashes after moving to new airport

Featured Replies

I start sim with default trike friday harbor. I then load PMDG Tutorial 2 cold and dark. I let systems load, then move to O'Hare. after a couple about 30 seconds I start to see what looks like spikes on the scenary horizon then after about another the 30 seconds sym crashes to a blue screen.

Same happens if I load NXG from free flight

Only happens with PMDG 737NXG loaded (all 4 variants)

Any ideas?

sounds like memory issues with your graffics card could be wrong, try sliding down your settings abit to see if it solves your issues

Also when you set up your flight. Instead of load cold and dark tutorial 2. From freeflight load the NGX at O'hare. Then go into the FMC and then choose cold and dark. If that doesn't work then there maybe other issues with your PC.

Agree with Pete, but there is no reason to load the trike. Select the NGX and KORD. Next, load the tutorial cold and dark once the sim settles and you have located the aircraft at the starting point.

Are you using any third party KORD scenery?
