December 11, 201213 yr Hi, I'm in the process to adjust all my panel.cfg to reduce the widht of the pop-up panel to one third of their original size so they can display correctly on a 3 screen surround system. It works generally well by reducing the size_mm first figure by two third and the gauge witdt (third figure) by two third also. For others airplane, I just add the window_size=0.3 , 1.000 line in the window definition. However, for the real air Citabria, it is not working as I tried those two approaches and the native gps pop up panel still open with a too wide window after the change. Anyone had success modifying their panel for the Citabria... [Window01] //the line below was modified from 150 to 50 width, no joy size_mm=50,250 position=6 BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16 VISIBLE=0 ident=GPS_PANEL //The gauge widh below was modified from 150 to 50 gauge00=gps!gps,0,0,50,250 In a different attempt, I just let the original width on the size_mm and gauge00 line but added the line below at the end of the window definition. It was not working either. //window_size=0.333,1.000 Any idea what is needed to resize the gps window correctly. December 11, 201213 yr disclaimer: I don't have multiple monitors and I don't use the GPS295 so this is offered FWIW. //-------------------------------------------------------- [WindowXX] Background_color=0,0,0 size_mm=456,378 window_pos= 0, .62 window_size= 0.200, 0.380 window_size_ratio=1.000 visible=0 ident=GPS_PANEL gauge00=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0,456,378 gauge01=..\..\Maule_M7_260C\panel\Maule_M7_260C!switch_nav_gps, 0,200,30,50 Just delete the "gauge01=" line if you don't want the remote GPS/NAV switch. It installs lower left screen on my monitor.
December 12, 201213 yr Author Hi Mslin, yep using the same setting as one of the native fsx airplane works. I'm just surprized that the gauge name is fs9gps"gps instead of the one that was intially in the RealAir Citabria. But at least it works with some tweaking on the window_size setting. December 25, 201213 yr I can't remember what GPS RealAir initially used. Most likely a representation of a 295. Since I never really learned how to properly use the 295, I swapped all mine out for the 500. In most cases I have it grouped with the King autopilot right above it but the RealAir Scouts etc have a nice autopilot in the panel so I didn't do it in this case. The GPS/NAV switch is a nice tweak I picked up on one of the boards. Glad I could help. Slim
