Does anybody know if it is possible to insert an alternate destination into an FSX .pln file? I don't need it for the FSX planner; it is more for the flight plan import option in FSRealWx to get correct winds aloft/temp for FMC entry.

I havnt used FSRWx, so im not sure how it works. Can you have your alterantive as the destination airport,but set the airport u want to fly to as the last waypiont in the flight plan?

 

Example

 

AAAA ( departure airport)

WP1 (VOR)

WP2 (VOR)

WP3 (Airport you wanted to land at)...this is just a waypiont in the flightplan, so you can make an approach and missed approach, and carry on with the flightplan to alternate.

WP4 =Alternate.
