I'm considering buying the MD-11 or the J41. Will either one of them (or both) work with windows 8 as my new computer was delivered with that (yes I know, I should have prefered W7;-) ?

i haven't had any issues specific with PMDG. The only issue i've is that from a cold start, my CH Yoke doesn't work in either FSX or W8. Oh and MCX is a bit of a mess.

My CH Yoke is working just fine, do you mean it stops working after a period of time?

If this is the case I know the fix and will be willing to help you out. As to the OP; all my addons work splendid in Win 8, even the beloved NGX.

No, after a cold startup, win8 doesn't register any input from the yoke. However after I restart it works normally.

Do you mind sharing this fix?

 

I have this problem only when I use them in mapped mode. Stuck with direct until a fix is found.
