December 16, 201213 yr This is called the world's busiest seaplane base. Not surprising. Enjoy. Thank you. Rick $Silver Donor EAA 1317610 I7-7700K @ 4.5ghz, MSI Z270 Gaming MB, 32gb 3200, Geforce RTX2080 Super O/C, 28" Samsung 4k Monitor, Various SSD, HD, and peripherals
December 16, 201213 yr Another "pop-in-after-spawning" Aerocache. I hope they get a bit harder sometime...
December 17, 201213 yr Author I guess it depends on which runway you're on. I chose runway 14 and the marker didn't pop up. As a matter of fact, I didn't see the marker at all until I had landed on the destination strip and had taxied almost to the end of it. Of course, it would have been more of a challenge if your takeoff runway had been a bit further away. As it is, I had not landed at either the Hood seaplane base nor Hood strip. I picked them both up while here. Then I flew a short job to Girdwood. Thank you.
