August 3, 200421 yr Hi:Does someone know the file or files that control the text in the small pop-up window that shows up when you put the mouse cursor on a gauge? And is there a way to correct this?Typical example might be: DISPLAY/HIDE GPSExample of what's showing up now: ALTIMIALTIIALTIMI......Through uninstalling and re-installing FS(, I must have deleted a file or files that control the correct text shown in this small pop-up window.Help appreciated. August 3, 200421 yr I would check the drive:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Fonts folder and see if you still have the eight font files. You can extract these fonts from your FS2004 CDs if you think one is missing or corrupted.Otherwise, if it is an addon gauge, the wrong font may have been used within the gauge.W. August 3, 200421 yr Author This is typically controlled from a "gauge file".Example from an XML based gauge: You can find these gauges in SimIcons.cab, in the gauges directory.Check the panel.cfg file for the airplane where you have the problem, to see what gauge is being called. Bert
