December 26, 201213 yr Nice story, Mel. I have a little son, at the age of four. He saw me "flying" from his very first years, and of course he got interested in what his father does there. Some months ago I invited him to sit onto my knees and to choose a plane for himself. He choosed a P-40 with Flying Tigers livery, a "bite-plane", as he called it because of the painted teeth. He tried not to crash it, but at the end... AES is a special attraction to him, he doesn't get bored observing the jetways and the pushback truck moving again and again. Now we often go spot at the nearby EDDC airport, we even use the bike to get there (and we even can see a Ilyushin Il-14 propliner here in which his grandpa flew to USSR 45 years ago), and I'm lucky to have a comrade for spotting and flying and cycling. (The A300 plane on the picture is to get converted to a freighter here at EADS Dresden plant) By the way, I will use WinXP until support will be ended, and I think I will use XP even after this on an offline PC just for FS2004. December 26, 201213 yr Thanks to you both Bob and Harald. I have taught my son FS9 and since my sons time doesn't permit it seems only fitting and 'grandfatherly'. Now we often go spot at the nearby EDDC airport, we even use the bike to get there (and we even can see a Ilyushin Il-14 propliner here in which his grandpa flew to USSR 45 years ago), and I'm lucky to have a comrade for spotting and flying and cycling. I love the pictures Harald, especially the first one, your son looks like a little darling. Although it appears he is deep thought as he plans something BIG. My grandson is six. Regards to all, Mel
