Used FS2XP to convert scenery

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I used FS2XP to covert a few airport scenery packages from FSX to Xplane. For some reason, the Flytmpa airports have large grey walls at runways. (KBUF, KTPA and TNCM-St Martin package) As they are registered in FSX there is no problem, but I think in Xplane, it sees them as not registered, hence the grey barriers. I've seen posts here about Flytampa converting with ease, but did not see this issue mentioned. I also tried to open WED and that software doesn't even let me do anything to any scenery...just a blank canvas with no options. What could I be doing wrong all in all? Sorry for the mutlitask question. Can anyone give me some advice? I hate empty airports in Xplane. I converted Skysunjet KPHL with very few issues so far. Thanks in advance. :)

Those large walls at the runway thresholds you can remove. Open the airport up in OverlayEditor and although you won't be able to see the objects, if you click around in the area they are eventually you will get lucky and they will highlight, allowing you to delete them.

Is it done yet? When will it be released? Will it be freeware or payware? How much will it cost? Any updates on the progress? Will it work for Xbox? Can I be a beta tester? How's the performance in VR?

Thanks so much. I did not have the overlay editor, which made things much easier. Much appreciated. :)
