Hello all !!

 

i got x plane 10 for christmas and decided to give it a try. for thre moment i installed it where the manual says it should go. i just have a question , does it take so long to load?? or to go to another airport ??

im sitting here and it is taking ages !! it can´t be my pc , the specs are as follows: amd pehenom x 6, 1090T processor. motherboard gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 with all 32mb memory slots being used. nivididia geforce 550gtx ti from MSI .

it reaslly cant take this long , something is wrong , i also updated , something it does automatically. any thoughtrs?? please help because it is very slow loading !!!!! it takes ages !!!

Make sure you installed X-Plane using the installer that is made available on the website. NOT the one on the DVD.

After you have installed it, make sure you run the installer again to make sure you have the latest update.

It would be good to know a little bit more precisely what "ages" means to you.

Loading times for X-Plane scenery ARE quite long - even on a fast system.

I would expect at least 1 minute, maybe 2 minutes for your system.

But that is not "ages" I guess ;)

 

I think you'll solve the problem with the hints above (reinstall).
