Can only start in 2D

Featured Replies

Using v1.5 Voice. Strange thing happening the last couple of weeks where clicking the usual spot in VC gets no reaction. In fact the mouse cursor doesn't even change to a hand. If I go to 2D panel I can launch FS2Crew but I must remember to lock the panel before moving to the VC or else it disappears. Any ideas as to cause, please?

This is no big deal as I can use FS2C but I'd like to know what's going on. Thanks.

Ian,

As mentioned in a post earlier today this is caused because the NGX Performance manager has removed the click spot, you can go to "Window" and select the FS2Crew from there.

here is the quote

Hi Rod,

(Last name pls).

You probably ran the PMDG Performance Manager, which, for some reason deletes the FS2Crew clickspot in the VC.

Here's the best way to open and close the window:

Special Tip:

You can also assign a Keyboard or Joystick button to open and close the Main Panel.

  • To create your "Toggle Main Panel" assignment, create a joystick or keyboard button assignment for 'AUTOFEATHER (ARM/OFF)' in the FSX 'SETTINGS - CONTROLS' menu

  • You can select any Joystick or Keyboard assignment (or both).

IMPORTANT: Your PMDG 737 NGX
cannot
use the same key assignment for any PMDG 737 NGX Key Command function, or the Main Button will not work!

So, for example, if you use "C" as your keyboard assignment for the Main Button, you cannot use "C" for any PMDG 737 NGX KEY ASSIGNMENTS.

Thanks Steven. Now you mention it, yes I did run PMDG Perf Manager! Grateful for the fix!
