January 1, 201313 yr I have had 737NGX for a few weeks now, When it works it's very impressive . I know with some win7 programs it is impossible to load software unless you are logged on as administrator. I have de installed reinstalled several times into C: fsx logged in as administrator have had various screen freezes , missing graphics, fatal shut down errors. I wondered if I needed to use administrator and also what updates I should use and when or which order to install them . Thanks for creating such an authentic aircraft , Colin
January 1, 201313 yr This would probably be more appropriate in the PMDG B737 forum. Using an administrator account is more convenient, as settings will be easier to adjust without running into permissions issues. Most likely, the issues you are experience relate to your computer or FSX installation. Perhaps you should consider trying the following tweaks: HIGHMEMFIX=1 in FSX.cfg for graphics errors UIAutomationCore.dll in the FSX main folder for memory usage errors Please reference Word Not Allowed's guide for more-detailed instructions about these two tweaks.
February 5, 201313 yr Why in the world would you decide to put this in the forum of "Letters to the Editorial Staff of Avsim" lol
