January 2, 201313 yr This guy pops up as FSX shuts down precipitously and makes me wonder if anyone has a clue in what to look for. It seems to be restricted to the NGX, and occurs sometime as I am taxiing along up thru recently taking off. I tried upgrading FSUIPC to the latest version but no joy. By "guy" I assume you mean the FSUIPC.dll is crashing your FSX and is the faulting module? It does not necessarily mean it was the cause of the crash but, if it continues to be the faulting module, then most likely it is the cause. Look in the Modules folder and look for a fsuipc4.log (a text document). Double-click it. It contains info about what is going on before the crash and it might show a clue as to what happened. Sorry Jim, I did not paste the 'guy' into the post ;o( That is a great tip, and yes FSUIPC.dll is the faulting module. I will look into the log file and maybe will find a clue. Also, today I was able to fly the NGX for a full flight w/ no crash. FSX does not crash for me usually, and never w/ the QW757, my default go-to airliner.
