Italian Scenery Design (ISD) help

Featured Replies

I have the newer version of the Olbia (LIEO) scenery and whenever I fly to the airport my AI is sunk into the ground, but when I fly from the airport my AI is just fine. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Anyone have any ideas?

There's a somewhat intricate procedure involving a freeware software called jabbgl which allows you to alter the altitude of the default Olbia airport to match the altitude ISD has given it in their addon scenery so that your AI shows up not sunken. There have been several threads on this forum about it. Perhaps if you find the file I can talk you through it via e-mail.Lee

I have jabbgl, but I don't think that will help because my AI is just fine when I start at the airport. My AI is sunk into the ground only when I land at Olbia.

I'm trying to remember how that scenery got fixed. Perhaps there's an update and an updated AFCAD at ISD's site. I know that jabbgl came into play. Remember, when you update the altitude in jabbgl you have to update the runways and taxiways as well. I also find you have to be careful in converting the meters to feet.Lee
