Normal Graphics Card Temp

Featured Replies

I am just curious what the noraml temperature range is for graphics cards when running FSX? When flying over ORBX PNW my temperature usually tops out at 58 degrees Celsius (GTX670). My old card (GTX465) ran much hotter at around 72 (or higher) degrees Celsius. Is 58 in the normal range or is it still running a little warm? I have never had any GPU problems so I'm sure its fine.

I think around 70-80C

Over Orbx scenery and flying the Flight1 Cessna 182T, about 60* C. I use the MSI Afterburner to control fan speed. If you install the Afterburner, be careful or you will find yourself installing a lot of junk (AOL tool bar for example) you don't really want. Read the install instructions carefully. Nvidia GeForce GTX570

Same results as woodhick here. eVGA GTX 570 stock clocked and it never goes above 70C using Afterburner. Normally it's around 55-60C but with clouds it goes up.

40-50 without clouds

max temp 60 with massive clouds

i have msi gtx 660.

I should overclock it one day ... last time i tried it made me lose 15 FPS in fsx.
