flythemaddog 2008 FSX

Featured Replies

Hey guys. I know this was already addressed and answered on the maddog forum but the forum isn't loading so I can't find the solution. I'm just trying flythemaddog 2008 on FSX for the first time and when i load the aircraft from the aircraft selection screen FSX CTDs on me. I also tried loading the cessna first and starting a flight, then loading the maddog.......same problem. Does anyone know the solution to this? Thanks.

I saw this post already. Running FSX in administrator mode solves the problem. However, I use the FPS limiter utility recommended for FSX. For whatever reason the launch file created by FPS limiter won't start up FSX if run as administrator. So while the maddog has to be run as admin, FSX can't be with the FPS limiter. It's strange.
