January 16, 201313 yr I am having an issue with resuming saved flights. Often, once I resume a saved flight the aileron trim is stuck well past full right. It does not show until the AC is taken out of autopilot, and it is so far over that there is no way to control the AC while adjusting it back in line. It looks like FS control of set aileron trim to zero does not work, nor does the FSUIPC control AILERON_TRIM_SET with a "0" entry work in the NGX. It does not show out of trim until the aircraft is taken out of autopilot I can blindly click on the trim while the AP is on, but, it is so far over it is at least 75-100 clicks to get it place, holding it seems even slower. Any input or ideas? Joe Lorenc
January 17, 201313 yr Author No rudder trim is neutral before and after ap disco. Yoke goes hard over and aileron trim is pegged to the right. I'll have to figure out what may be interfering with my saves, I also get a some other oddities such as the route not being active (blue line, not magenta), CDU is on full bright. Joe Lorenc
June 18, 201312 yr I have the same problem with the aileron trim after resuming a saved flight. Is it possible to reset the trim while AP is on?
June 19, 201312 yr I have seen this issue with saved flights too. I have to center the aileron trim during every preflight. The only way I can get it to trim back to center is to trim it in the direction the yoke is deflected then go back the correct way to until it centers. In your case when it happens inflight I would use my mouse (or try left or right aileron trim hotkey) to trim it the direction of the yoke deflection (I know it sounds counter intuitive but this is what I have to do when it happens on the ground) then use the FSX hotkey to center it quickly. I assign aileron L, center, and R trims to NUM 4,5, and 6 and it works well (on the ground). This method takes very few clicks to center it back up. I am not sure how it behaves with AP on cause i never save a flight in the air. Chuck Biggins
