I was wanting to do some air file editing and was wondering is any of you were doing any playing around with air files?

 

It seems like so many of the posts about air file editing on Avsim are very old and I was wondering if anyone was still playing around with them.

.Air files are a dark art :-) at least for me.. More information regarding the .air files can be found here. Herve Sors is also a king with aerodynamic data and such, his site is here. I use AIrEd is a program that was written back in 2000 that still works as long as the .ini is kept up to date. Where to find it is a big question check here, or all the other major FS site(s).
