Personal best

Personal best, just for my own satisfaction. 39,656 feet of altitude and 782 kts in a power dive to oblivion with P-51 D. I'm sure I can do better! Next time I will try a high speed pull out to see if compressibility is modeled? It was more of a problem with the P-38 but I don't have one, ha ha.

if compressibility is modeled?

If it was Steve you wouldn't have gotten to 700+ KIAS :-)

Honestly, and given that I am about to re-install MS FLIGHT to test it on my new rig, the only two good flight models (accurate, not arcadish / simplified) are those of the Maule and the Stearman, and the Carbon Cub probably too, but I have used it just a few times before giving up on FLIGHT a few months ago... Even the RV leaves a lot to be desired in terms of simple stall characteristics... The cockpitless - forget about tehm flight dynamics wise... it's pure arcade (although the potential is there and the proof is the quality of the Maule and Stearman
