January 21, 201313 yr Well some of them! I happened upon a demo sound set for the C206 Stationair on AVSIM library the other day. Now I have to say the C206 was one of my regrettable buys simply because of the engine sound. It sounded like a Dornier bomber(two engines out of synch) so it was uninstalled. So, the demo. Put out by Synchro-Soft,(search AVSIM library FSX sounds) it's not time limited, the only limit is your endurance of the 7 second interval 'Fasten seat belts' BING! Anyway, it absolutely brought the 206 alive! Delving further, I found they do the C152, C172, C182, C185, F33 Bonanza and the Mooney M20J. (couldn't help myself, I bought the lot! )They also do a bunch of tubeliner thingies. In my opinion, for €7 a throw they've brought a few unused aircraft back into service. Excellent job. Well worth checking out. Disclaimer: I am no relation. Well, he's my wife's sister's nephew's cousin. Does that count? B) The World is divided into two groups. January 21, 201313 yr Thanks for the info, sir. I had also grown tired of the sound set after only a flight or two. The repetitive loop was really short on this aircraft. I swapped the sound folder out with aircraft that had similar turbocharged engines - that solved the issue for me (used the Carenado B58 Baron), but your option sounds pretty cool and will be more accurate. Just wanted to say thanks for posting it. Mark

January 21, 201313 yr I've been using their C152 sound pack for quite some time, and I concur it is a nice boost to realism. The C172 pack is also good, but I've simply given up trying to like Carenado's Skyhawk... Funnily enough, although I can certainly appreciate the superior modeling of planes like the Katana 4X, Carenado's C152 remains my favorite plane for small local hops, and my second favorite GA add-on for FSX (nothing beats the RA Legacy, but it's not exactly the plane you take to visit a scenic grass strip in your neighborhood...).
