Crash on Exit (again)

Recommended Posts

This is a fresh Windows7x64 and FSX installation, and this error got worse and worse the more addons I installed. I do have a lot of them for sure at over 100 payware addons.

I don't even need to start a flight for this to happen. If I just launch FSX, wait a few moments, then exit, I get the 'FSX has stopped working' message. Below is what AppCrash shows.

From what I can fathom, the 'ai_player.dll' is a common cause of problems. How the $%^&* can I fix this when it happens without even starting a flight?

So, so, SO frustrated and any help MUCH appreciated.

Instead of just posting your topic "Again", you might want to try researching the forum before you post. You most likely find a much quicker answer as 99% of these crashes are very common.

I understand it can be very frustrating though.

ai_player.dll crashes on exit have been reported due to Fsinn. I have been told FSinn was written for FS9, and has broken/incompatible code.

Removing it might be the only solution, you can try going to FSinn support as well.

Also, if you were flying in the PNW, this is a known problem. In the FTX Forum, conduct a search for the ai_player.dll.

Best regards,

Jim

I'm sorry but when did you become the forum police. It's NOT the same post. It contains MUCH more data that someone MAY have been able to help with.

Yes, it IS frustrating and so are posts like that;-)

PS As far as I'm aware I don't have FSInn. Certainly not knowingly. Is it payware?
