Weird file created each time FSX starts

Recommended Posts

Each time I run FSX, a small text file called log.log is created on my desktop. I have no idea where it comes from but judging by what's written in it (see below) it might have something to do with shaders.

full path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\

redirecting CreateDevice

initialising shader environment

device->GetBackBuffer failed

Any idea what would do this ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Looks like SweetFX log.

Thanks ! I tried removing it and it's indeed SweetFX.

However it looks like there isn't a setting to disable the log to be created each time... I guess I'll have to live with that.

Cheers
