January 31, 201313 yr Doing a flight yesterday from KSFF to KJAC and ATC wanted to vector me into mountains, was quite interesting seeing as it was IMC! Is there any way to avoid this please?
February 2, 201313 yr When the VoxATC window is open and you've been given your approach you should be able to press '0' and go through a list of options, one of which, should be to select 'Full Procedure' for the approach you've been given. In most cases this should resolve the issue.
