Help with Tpm switches

Recommended Posts

Can anyone give some advise on programming Tpm switches. When I program a switch for say speed brakes, when I toggle the switch down it activates the speed brakes, but when I toggle back up, nothing happens. I have to toggle back down to retract. How can I program the switch so that toggling down activates speed brakes and toggling up retracts them?

Thanks for your help.

Could this happen because the FSX command is an on/off one? It's the same command for both actions unlike e.g. flaps up and flaps down. So you could map the spoiler key command to both states of that switch. By this, the next activation will toggle the spoilers on and the next one off. The switch position therefore isn't relevant, but as long as you don't use another input device for commanding the spoilers, you should be fine.

There's a chance that a registered FSUIPC would allow you to use dedicated commands though. So if you run that soft, perhaps look up what it has to offer for the spoilers and map these commands to your hardware.
