FSX Crashes after new Radeon drivers upgraded

Featured Replies

I just installed the newest Radeon drivers, and its crashed my FSX twice now departing YVR for OGG in the PMDG 737... nothings changed on my computer except the driver upgrade... anyone else experienced any crashes, any changes anyone made??

Chris - you might try uninstalling the drivers, then using Driver Sweeper (free) to get rid of all traces of the old software first. Then reboot, have a coffee, and begin a fresh install. Should be good to go then.

Hey Chris - this sounds really odd - BUT HURRAY!!!!

Brother i have been working hard to figure out which addon, tweak, plane...blah blah was causing my crash.

I crash to desktop - sometimes at the start or sometimes a few minutes after take off.

Your post made me remember the first thing I did when I got back home from travels was update my driver.

I too am going to sweep and go back to my old driver. This is the best news I have had in an otherwise rotten day.
