Thanks cooke for taking time to reply. I had Navi pointed correctly. I had even manually pointed it to the root just to be sure - before posting here. From the pic above you can see the drop down was only giving me 2 departures on 07L. One being the Ancho8 - alas incorrectly. But: As always seems to be the case, if I just spend more time working on it I figure it out. 🤪 Originally I had hesitated to uninstall P2ATC per the creators advice. But that is what I ended up doing. Then I reinstalled the latest stable version, updated the Airac, checked everything was working again and installed the Beta over the stable. Seems sorted. No flights yet. Test that next chance. Cheers

Pretty sure it's something I am not doing correctly but in a few searches and multiple attempts I am unable to figure this one out. I have a subscription to Navigraph and point the updated Airac to the Beta folder. Ancho8 is no longer used. No option for Ancho9. While one departure would not be a big deal - it is all procedures that are out of date and this - Ancho8 - departure is not in the PMDG 737 FMC with the updated airac. (and the Appr at my destination was wrong) Am I missing files? cycle_info reflects Airac is up to date. Thanks - kinda new to P2ATC.

Hello my friend, As the title says. Directly Purchased - How to update? Originally, I downloaded the link on your site when I first bought this but was informed I installed the Ultimate version and not just the MSFS version. I went back to the link sent but it installed the 3.0.10 again. Also, would like to know - how do I know when there is an update? I guess a change log might get to be a pain to maintain on this forum or just an thread keeping us up-to-date... Answered above: Link to post above Info from me. I did try clicking X-Plane, going out of full screen, alt clicking and moving the RC window on all corners. Alt tabbing and clicking the RC window, minimizing the window. Closing ActiveSky, X-Camera, enhanced clouds, and more. It was a 3 hour flight, I tried everything I could think of based off of research, until I truncated my flight. Happens every flight. Windows 11. Log link Anyone interested in really good ATC Radar Contact is free now. Somewhat of a hassle to setup DLLs but works great & without robotic voices. MCE communicating with it is awesome. Good prep/alternative for Vatsim. BTW figured out no Vspeed calls (I think). I have to say "Before take off procedure". Just want to say thanks! MCE has the best support in flight sim community.

I have tried researching and found maybe RC window is a losing focus problem? Seams like it might have come up before. I turn over radios to Will and he has no problem communicating with RC. But if I try to regain control or even just type in a number for RC nothing happens in the RC menu or even if I speak the command. I removed any numbers (1-9) from any other keyboard commands. I understand maybe it is another app holding a top position over RC but closed everything and still could not communicate. It only happen deep into the flight. So no way to request higher/lower, direct to, -etc. Since William can still communicate with ATC maybe you guys have a solution...? Thank you my friend. Yes, I had just booted up XPlane 11 and took pics of my settings w/o having a flight booked to show you my settings. Anyways, I worked on this last night. There must be something I am doing inconsistently because I did get it to work. I never fly w/o a flight plan and RC4. Plans are setup in multiple places/ files - coroutes for ixeg, default XPlane output FMS, My docs Flight plans for RC4. I boot RC4 before MCE, as per instructions, to get the flight plan. Not sure how/where MCE gets the vspeeds from? From the - flight plan, bugs set on the speed gauge, FMS, or MCE UI? I added a lua script that also makes the vspeed calls according to bugs on speed gauge - in case I miss something with the MCE. My backup plan. 😬 Thanks!

Last one - why do you think he stops calling v speeds at take off. He was calling 80knts and no vspeeds but he doesn't even call that anymore. Happened again today. Driving the IXEG

Especially the //2 While I have your "ear". 2 things: I can start this to another thread if that is better. 1 - It would be nice if I could have the copilot start the chorono/clock timer to track block time. Not sure how to add actions. I do know how to delete them with a method you outlined. Just as a future request on planes not the 747. Like the currently supported ixeg,ff etc. 2- I have looked and looked but can not figure out how to stop William from announcing every step he takes on his flow. You mentioned that above in regards to that video. All I have accomplished is accidentally no longer getting vspeed callouts. Cheers,

That's awesome Gerald! (might have to pick up the 727) Yes, if ever there was a need for a couple of extra crew it is in these type of AC. But, I can only imagine the amount of work to get all of the stations working. I'll make a pitch on the 747 page. Give me time to think of the proposal. 🤔 Currently my idea (from what I might can do) is just creating a checklist old William can read to me, but maybe not do the checks to see if the knobs are actually correct.? Wonder if that would work - as an interim measure from my side. Tested with the stock 747 MCE but of coarse buttons do not turn. I'm a happy MCE user and have most products for MSFS, Xplane & RC4. I purchased because I like the looks of this and where it is going. I fully support this and hope it continues development. But for now I am not going to use it since the "Experimental" feature of keep on top in full screen does not work (XPlane). Tabbing out of the sim to check on things is not going to work for me. But it really fills a great spot when it matures a bit more. Buy it and lets get this plugin developed. 🙂

XPlane - MCE - RC4 - IXEG *Push To Talk - PTT PTT : "Center American three one zero with you." No response - RC4 does not hear it I can see that in the RC4 box. PTT : "Center American three one zero with you." Response - RC4 hears it I can see it highlights in the RC4 box. This is my life inside of the simulator. For certain commands I always have to repeat twice. PTT : "Approach American three one zero with you" PTT : "Approach American three one zero with you" OR Similar Like "Tower or departure" However: "Four zero two point zero zero. American three one zero" This type of command picks up first time. MCE first officer commands work nearly perfect first time. Note I try many ways: - Hold PTT button count 1, 2, 3 - then say my respond - count 1,2,3 release PTT. - Voice training completed. Even created a new voice profile and completely retrained it. - I do have the option checked to use exact call sign checked (this is the option I most want in my communications) Other observations - maybe will help other RC4 X-Plane users. I run the sim in full screen. I find that unless I tab out (alt/tab) of the sim at the start - before seeking clearance - and then minimize the RC4 screen most of my commands are not recognized. Maybe that is just a placebo effect but seems to help. (I load RC4 first, then start MCE always) Reading back clearance is always a gamble to get RC4 to actually give you "readback correct" before RC clearance quickly starts looping making it impossible to read back and you just need to use the shortcut button. I understand that probably with most of the RC code there is nothing MCE can do to slow down RC4's speed of compliance requirements with an instruction but it would be nice. It becomes really hard to tune the radio to the next controller, and then say "Center American three one zero with you" and then have to repeat it again. Before getting scolded by the previous controller. Or if you try to give the full: "Center American three one zero climbing past two three zero for two niner zero" I have yet to get that out before the previous control scolds me for not being quick enough or it gets recognized at all. I guess it is RC hard coded on the speed of response but it get a bit frustrating. So for now if I could just not have to repeat everything twice it would be less frustrating. 🙂 I really enjoy this plugin. The first officer is an aspect I thought I would not use but for a few things he can be really helpful. And the customizable checklist is a wonderful feature! Thanks

Just to give you guys some good feedback. I had an issue (my fault) with the RC4toXplane plugin. Ben was quick to respond and very patient with my mistakes over the last couple of days with email exchanges. Value for money! Thanks Ben and you can trust this plugin is supported well.

I also had VAS problems on this scenery - FSX in the PMDG 747. Always started to ding before I finished my preflight. I could just watch the VAS count down. And that is with everything cut off (traffic and weather). I can use the 747 at FSDream team Vancouver and use half the VAS I use at JAX. Moved over to X-Plane now but hope one day they fix/optimize whatever it is. My FSX is tweaked very well, btw.

That is great!! Your post about the push back and the other gentleman that posted about being new to XPlane are the reason I spent the time to write it all out. I will add one more but skip pinning a link. Jan, from IXEG, wrote that they are working on fixing the ground stick thing for the release of patch 1.1. The patch is mainly focused on XPlane 10 but should help in 11 (though 11 is not fully supported in the patch). He stated that in the mean time try to stay above 5knts when taxiing. You made it all worth while and hope you find something you like......Mr Armstrong. haha

IF you have problems please direct them to the authors I am no specialist. ) IXEG Stuff Problems and great addons: Problems mainly focused on the XP11 Beta15 - IXEG 1.07 Some things I learned about the IXEG guys. They all have full time jobs besides creating this plane. They do this part time. So do not expect fast patches or fixes. Not everything in the plane is finished but it is still great and highly flyable. (works for me) Several people have said different reasons for the sliding (Slope to wind) For Friction/pushback: No Solution I have found. I believe IXEG has their own ground friction model which does not work with XP11. But sounds like other planes are having this problem too. Push back - This almost always is a rocky (pun intended) process. (Straight or to the side I still get bouncy) I have not found a fix yet. This also happens- the plane can just stop on the taxiway or runway and when you stand the throttles up to get it to move it goes backwards….? Not figured this out yet. Cool addons for the IXEG: Ground handling by JARDesign This is kind of a GSX type thingy. As for the flight planning. This got rid of the message. Try getting ground power hooked up quickly and turn on your hydraulic pumps right away. Then your parking brakes should work. Not RW SOP but might help.

After several emails and testing with the ever so patient Mr. Scotflieger I am happy to report back that my problem was solved quickly. Now you ask what we did. Sorry but I fooled around with so many things and test that I could not even tell you. I will say if Linda does not work the first time you install it shut down the sim and try again (or again and again like I did). Just have to say many thanks Scotflieger!!! You sir are a star!! Hello and thank you! Sent the log file via email. Read support instructions and used default FSX plane pressed a few buttons. System win 7 64 FSX -dx10 I download the latest 2.9.2 v3 (487) Updated my paid FSUIPC4.963 I did a clean install – deleted all Linda files in modules folder and dropped the new ones in. Backed up my folders but waiting until we get it the basic setup working. Linda recognizes the proper plane and the orange box with FSX sync works when I drop a module folder in. Problem: 1- I get no “on release” for my goflight panels. 2- While it looks like Linda is communicating with fsx the buttons - they show in the Linda interface as being used in Linda (but not the on release)- the switches do not do anything in the sim. 3- Also seems like I used to be able to customize a plane without FSX running but no more.
