XBOX 360 Controller and FSX

Featured Replies

Anyone here using an xbox 360 controller to fly with? For the most part I have gotten it to work well. I followed this guide to set it up:

However I have one problem that's been bugging me and thats when using my right analog stick to pan around while in certain views. For example when panning around in the virtual cockpit, I'll move the stick towards the left and hold it there in order to keep my view in sight but after a second or so the view will reset back as though I let my finger off the stick. Does anyone know how to fix this and prevent that from happening. Sucks when I'm in middle of a flight and panning in a certain direction to enjoy the scenery and the view resets.

Used it for years (no guide for setup... just install drivers, calibrate and set buttons).

As far as the view... I think that is the default camera view it is resetting to... that would have to be changed to your preference (something I never did).
