February 5, 201313 yr OK. I purchased FSX Deluxe, installed it, now, how do I start it? Installation leaves no desktop icon. I use Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. No mention of how to start in the printed manuals. Any help is appreciated. Mike
February 5, 201313 yr Go to the installation path (default is C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Fligth Simulator X), scroll down to the FSX.exe and create a desktop shortcut for FSX. I also have had this problem, it happens, when you miss to check the "Create Desktop Shortcut" option during installation. Regards, Flo Florian
February 5, 201313 yr If you installed to the defualt location the fsx.exe file sohuld be here; C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X It might be in the C:\Program Files(x86)Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X file, but as I have 32bit vista I can't be sure about 64 bit location, check in both and that should get you going. edit: just beaten by Flo "If you can't solve and equation with calculus, you're not using enough calculus" - A wise friend
