  1. I'll put v1.1 of Net Framework to see if EVP will install and thanks Jim for letting me know about Vista. By the way, Mel, I'm not really sure about the 32 bit compatibility but will look into it. Thanks to both of you. Mike
  2. Hello, Can someone on this forum tell me if Editvoicepack 3.1 is compatable with Windows Vista Home Premium (64bit). I use FS9 and have had EVP on my computer in the past but am having trouble installing it now. I have .Net Framework v3.5, SP1. You have to admit EVP 3.1 is 10 years old. Any help is preciated. Mike
  3. Thanks all, got the icon on the desktop. Mike
  4. OK. I purchased FSX Deluxe, installed it, now, how do I start it? Installation leaves no desktop icon. I use Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. No mention of how to start in the printed manuals. Any help is appreciated. Mike
  5. Hi there, On my old computer I had under the heading "select a flight" a long list of flights/adventures using a B737-xxx with nothing but Southwest Airlines livery. Today I can't find where I got these flights nor remembering installing such a program. Does anyone out there have any idea of what I'm talking about in regards to these flights. BTW, I use FS9. Thanks. Mike
  6. Thank you kind people. Maybe I can ship you some of the various errors and go from there?
  7. Morning all. Will EdiTVoicepack 3.1 run on Vista Home Premium, 64 bit. I used to have it installed on one version of FS, and it worked fine. Just don't remember which version. Thanks Mike
  8. Tom, I just installed your " squeaking brakes while taxing" on a Project Opensky 737-8Q8, Air Jamaica livery. As I said in another post, I'm not to picky and I think these sound pretty good. Hey, I had no brake sound before this. Thanks, Mike
  9. Yes Tom, thanks much. Mike
  10. It seems like any new third party aircraft are just for FSX. I know it's newer but I never liked it. More power to the people making new products for FSX. Have nothing against them.
  11. Mr. Gibson, I was instructed to ask if the brake sound you had/have on CalClassic's DC-6 would work on a b737-xxx and if so, I'm asking for your permission to try it. And, if so, where would I find the file? TYhank you sir. Mike
  12. Thank you Harald for the braking issue. I will check with Tom Gibson on that. And thank you YBNA on the bumping issue. I have AES but nit installed. Mike
  13. Ladies and gents. It might have been for FS2000, maybe even before but I had a third party freebie of the sound of braking while taxing that I used on a third party 737-400. It didn't sound the greatest, something like a Halloween boogie man but I knew what it was and I'm not too hard to please. Does anyone remember this and think it still might be available? I have looked at alot of forums but no luck. Also wasn't there talk recently somewhere about running over taxi lights and getting that thump, thump sound? Was that a freebie item and possibly for FS9? Thanks to all. Mike
  14. Has Avsim gone all FSX?
  15. Good morning all. Last May I had to re-format my hard drive. Thinking I had all my third party material, I proceeded with the re-format. After the format I couldn't find the paperwork on a program I really liked. It was/is a compilation of B737-300/400 and all in the livery of Southwest. I don't know if this had anything to do with 50 North. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I can't find the least little paperwork. Any help from anyone is a lifesaver. Thanks Mike
