BN-2 in PNG

Featured Replies

P2-ISA was one of several BN-2 Islanders operated by Talair in Papua New Guinea. Unfortunately, they ceased trading in 1993... I wonder what happened to her!

On AVSIM library. Incidentally, Papua New Guinea provides some very interesting bush flying!

Nice work Ron. Thanks for sharing. Raw Grit certainly makes PNG more interesting than default. Not too many RNAV approaches there!

Pacific Island Simulations made a couple of scenery packages for PNG - Raw Grit & Extreme Bush Trekker (or something like that). I think they've now combined it into one package. I thought that was creating the buildings in the background of your pics. There are a pile of mostly bush strips high in hills or in valleys (or both...) and routes to fly to them all. Ideal for the Islander, Caravan or Twotter.
